I have really been crafting my little fingers off these last few weeks so I have a few projects I'd like to share with you.  I'm going to show you two of the cards I've made today and then to see the others you'll have to stop on back tomorrow.

For my first project I'd like to share with you a really a card I made using one of my favorite digis for this time of the year.

There's just something about those pumpkins in the bushel that I just love.  For this card I did alot of inking and stamping and I even did some embossing.... my craftroom looked like a bomb went off in it....lol but, It was an organized mess.

Now for the next card I made I used another one of Jen's super cute digis

When I colored in the little boy I colored him as if he were my five year old nephew with my Mom's Westie dog.... I thought that this came out soooo, cute and I'm not sure who to send it to.  Either my sister or my Parents would love this.
I would like to thank you for stopping by my blog today I really do appreciate it and, I hope that you will stop on back here tomorrow to see the rest of the cards that I've made.

Land of the Free Because of the Brave Blog Hop

Land of the Free Because of the Brave Blog Hop

****For Jen's Digi Stamps Friday Freebie and current challenge please go here

Welcome to the Land of the Free Because of the Brave Blog Hop. I'd like to thank Nicolette for having me be apart of this hop.  If you'd like to start at the begining of the hop just head here.  If you've been hopping then you should be arriving here at my blog from Carol's Blog

This blog hop is our little way of showing our support and gratitude to those who selflessly defend our country and make it safe for the rest of us.
I'd personly like to say thank you to all of those brave, men, and women and their families.

Before I get to my projects I'd just like to share with you alittle bit about all of the Vets that are in my family and about those who are no longer with us....

First is my own Dad, he is a vietnam veteran.  I will say one thing that he never really ever wants to talk about what he went thru.  So, we don't push him to talk about it.  But, these last few days on cable they have been showing Vietnam War footage in HD and I briefly watched some of it and I can't even begin to imagine having to be in that position.

Next is my Father in Law he is a Veteran of the Korean War he was in the Navy he was aboard this ship.

Then there's my grandfather (miss you pop-pop!!!) He too was in the Navy.  He was aboard the USS Arkansas.

And, my Great, Great,Great Granfather Edward TC Trader was in the Civil War... I've tried for years to  try and get more info on him but, I really wasn't having too much luck.  Years ago when I started researching my family tree someone contacted me and told me of him being in the Civil War. Since then I've found a few items.

Okay so thanks for taking a few minutes to look at just some of the info that I've collected.  Now I'm going to show you the cards that I've created.  I made them pretty simple.  Here is the first card that i've made and it simply states: honor, courage, freedom.

Next I made this card:

This one I flipped the card on it's side and used the words: Bravery,Liberty,Strength

Next I went all out and I made this waterfall card there are a bunch of pictures for this one:

Here it is closed up.  I really like how this all came together.  At first I wasn't sure but, now that it's finished I really like it.  Now here are a few pictures of it opened up.

Here's how it looks all pulled out. Notice I didn't write anything on the tab or on the inside of the card.  I thought it'd be best to leave it blank that way you can add your own little message to the reciever of this card.

And here's all of the cards together in one grouping.

Now I'm going to send you on your way to my bloggy buddy Leah's Blog she always has something crafty to share with us.

Now I am doing something alittle bit different for blog candy.  I've been on my way to 500 followers and once I get there I'm going to be having a giveaway of a bunch of crafting goodies that I've been picking up from here and there and everywhere.  So once I hit 500 followers I'm going to be having a giveaway and one of my faitful followers is going to get a bunch of new crafting goodies.

Please see each blog for information one blog candy and what those requirements are.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and for all of your lovely comments.  Just take a moment today to thank a Veteran for the job they've done.

Some more pics of my banner.

Okay so if you came by this weekend then you saw the banner that I made for the children of the Pediatric Specialty Care of Bucks County, Pa

I'd like to share a few more pictures that I took of the banner that are closer up.  It was a long hop and I didn't want to bomb bard people with tons of pics this weekend but, so many people gave such nice comments that  I thought that people might like to see the panels up close.

The paper pack that I used was from Me & My Big Ideas and then the solids were Colorbok

Thanks so much for checking out all of the close ups of my banner.... I am actually pretty pleased with how it turned it.  I want to thank the Brittster for her help with all of those sticky snowflakes.... what took me 2 hours to do the day before she had done and ready to go in 20 minutes....her hands work way better then mine.

Be Creative today and everyday,
---Michelle
