Still adding to this and updating
I'm just super super busy running and doing other things. Actually creating items so I haven't had the time to update the blog like I have wanted to but, I am slowly getting there.
Right now I'm in the process of making a Halloween Topiary and it's killer!!! I did take a break from doing that yesterday and I drew up a picture of Aldis Hodge for a slide show that is going to be given to him for his birthday.
It's very theraputic to sit down and draw. I have been loving using my Copic Markers I use them for everything now.
I will be also adding the picture of Aldis to the blog and the three that I've done of Christian Kane I will also be adding just as soon as I get everything else posted on here.
Thanks for stopping on by again.

Glass Etching Christmas Gifts Baking Dishes
I haven't done alot of Glass Etching but, wow is it alot of fun. The product that I used was the one shown on the right. It's made by Armour Etch and it's so simple to use.
What I did first was I used my Gypsy and I designed my layout.
Then I cut the designs out onto some vinyl.
After cutting the vinyl then I applied the images onto the glass baking dishes.
Next I applied the Etching cream to the image being careful not to get it where I didn't want it. Also if you do this make sure you were gloves and protect your clothes and eyes. Etching cream is very harmful so please use with care.
I waited for the cream to work which was about 5mins for me then I rinsed the cream off and washed the baking dish and it was finished!!!
It really was super easy and they all came out great. They made really neat Christmas gifts too. I'd have to say that is glass etching is something that you've wanted to try then by all means give it a try. The best part about it is, it's permanent and its also dishwasher safe.

Yes I'm Back in Crafting Action Finally
LOL....I just wanted to let y'all know that yes. I have been a very busy crafting bee lately. I have soooo many cool and new projects that I've been working on and I'm working really hard to get everything uploaded on here. Just bare with me and I swear you wont be disappointed.
Just really quick (yeah right, I don't do anything really quick). I will be attempting to have the Spinal Chord Stimulator re-implanted. That will be taking place the end of October so I will be in and out then but, I'm hoping there wont be any complications this time and that I will be able to get into the craft room then as well because I have soooooo very many crafty ideas I want to do.
Please be sure to stop back frequently so that you can see what I've been up to and let me know what you think.
Take Care,
Michelle

Copic Marker Wallets
Has anyone out there tried any of the wallets out there for your Copic Markers? I recently had my hubby get me two of the clear acrylic storage boxes for my Copics and I turned them on their sides and used them but, when I pull out the one I want the rest will slide out. So I'm looking into getting the empty Copic wallets that hold 72 markers they
Run around $30.00 each and I'm gonna fill up about three of them with all the markers that I have. I was hoping to get some input before I spend all that cash on them I dont want to waste any money. Don't mind spending it on something good because I love my Copics and want to keep them nice.
Again thanks so much for stopping on by today. Keep on creating. The world needs crafty people in it!!! Michelle

Leverage's very own Eliot Spencer
The Official "UnOfficial " Eliot Symbol
Okay in honor of Actor/Singer Christian Kane's B-Day I'm finally getting around to posting the pictures of the Eliot Symbol that I made for my daughter who loves the Eliot character. If you don't know Eliot is the name of the character that Christian plays on TNT's Leverage. (Awesome TV Drama if you don't already watch, you should!!!) I wish I could remember which episode it was I thought I did but, I'm not sure so I'm not even going to try to even think about it anymore but, I do know it was in one of the episodes last season.
Anyway onto the Symbol
![]() |
| Lit Up Eliot Spencer Symbol The best thing about this is it made my daughters day and, when you get down to it. Isn't that what its all about anyway? Thanks so much for stopping on by today I appreciate it. I know I've been MIA on everything lately but, I'm just really wiped out STILL so I'm taking it easy even though I'm not posting on here doesn't mean I'm not crafting I am just not as much. Take Care, oh and again a huge Happy Birthday wishes to Christian. Christian!!!! We love you and your music. For those of you who aren't familiar with his music give it a listen you wont be disappointed and it's safe to say you'll end up being another one of the every growning group of Kaniacs!!!! I've been up to alot lately
I know it doesn't look like I've been doing much by the looks of things around here but, you'll be happy to hear that....I'm starting to feel better. With that said, I've been working on getting my craft room organized and that has proven to be a tall order but, its getting there. I've also decided that i'm going to be hitting up a craft fair thats up my way come May of this year.
I'm also going to be lending a hand with a few charities. I'm not at liberty to say which ones they are just yet. Give me a week or so and i'll let you know.
Also I know that i've had a few ghost visitors to my blog lately and I just wanted to put up a hug:e thank you for actually saying you were going to stop by and then
doing so. l really appreciate it and for enjoying it so much that you went so far as to share with a friend who you thought would be interested as well so thanks for that.

So, What have I been up to?
First off, I'm soooo sorry for not coming around as much as I was before but, if you can remember.... I had that issue with my Anemia. Well, I'm still very much wiped out so I am busy doing other things. I know shame on me how could I.
I am still creating when I have the extra energy and I'm making up a whole bunch of items for the Craft Fair this May. I will be posting pictures of everything as soon as I get them all taken.... I'm leaning towards just doing everthing all at once.
Thanks for still checking in and for all of the well wishes.... My readers are the best!!!!

Christmas Banner "NOEL"
Christmas Banner
"NOEL"
I'm not sure if you've seen this or not but Provo Craft, the makers of The Original Cricut, The Cricut Expression, The Imagine (which I will be purchasing sometime after the holidays, next year at some point) and my other favorite is the Gypsy!!!
Long story short they have come out with this cartridge:
I just love this cartridge for making banners..... so cute!!! I highly reccomend this cartridge.
I'm going to make this a really quick post.... I have dinner going. If you really want to know the deets on the banner just leave me a comment and I'll get to it after the holiday. I made this to hang between our living room and dining room area so I wanted it to a double sided banner.
Here's the one side:
And here is the other side:
This is the side of the banner that shows into our Living room where our Christmas Tree is... see it's on.
Before I get to the pictures of the Christmas tree I'm going to show you a few close up shots of the banner so that you can see the details on it. I inked the edges of the letters. The letters were taken from the BlackLetter Cricut Cartridge. I also added some silver stickles to the letters... I think they came out so cute.
For the Holly Berries I used some very small Martha Stewart beads... these things are so cool but, boy do they roll everywhere!!!
Okay now here's the picture of our Christmas Tree for this year.
It's a real one BABY!!!! Don't mind the blue sheet that it's sitting on. I didn't want to take a chance with my good hardwood floors. This was just a real quick pic that I took. The better pictures are still on the camera.
Thank you so much for coming by today. I know how hectic it is with the Holidays just about in full swing.... I will be trying to post some more posts soon.
Thanks for much,
Be Creative today,
Michelle

Glass Blocks...... I love em'
Glass Blocks for Christmas Home Decor
Ahhh.... I have to say that I have found my NEW FAVORITE thing to decorate with!!!
It's Glass Blocks!!!!
Now .... I could only find these up my way in my Wal-Mart.... well I found only 1 at a Wal-mart that was 25 Miles from my house in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
When I walked into the aisle there was another lady standing in there with her hubby and I could tell they were looking for something but, I couldn't tell what. So I knew where the blocks were so I dart there and I don't see any... then I bend all the way over and go in up to my shoulders.... ( my arms are short).... I pull one of these bad boys out.
The woman sees me and says, " I guess we had the same idea" Her hubby comes over and he was saying something to her then she asked me if there were anymore in there and I told her NO and if there were I would be grabbing those to so she says, " I guess it's your you grabbed it first."
Did she really think that was going to guilt me into giving it to her....lol Not gonna happen, I had my heart set on these bad boys...
So, needless to say we ended up going to yet another Wal mart and I hit the jackpot there I was able to grab three more of them so I was okay for now.
I actually ended up leaving one of the four that they had in the Pittston, Pa store only becaue the dang thing had a chunk out of it and thankfully..... I didn't cut myself... I caught myself just as it was happening and I stopped.... the thought of it makes my stomach turn, just thinking about it.
So here's what we did. You'd think that that huge label would be something that would just pull off pretty easy. If your thinking that then your WRONG we ended up having to let them soak in the sink and then still had to use Goo Gone on them to take off the glue.
Here are the supplies that I used:
1. The glass block that measures 7" X 7" X 3"
2. I picked out some cute Christmas colored ribbons I got a whole mess of it because we used it on the wreathes and I use it on gifts but, here's one that I got specific for the glass blocks.
It's a really nice shade of Burgandy I don't know why that in this picture it looks red but, it's not it's burgandy and it have gold accents (now normally I go for silver and not gold but, I thought that this looked more Christmasy.
Here's the other ribbon that I used for the second block.... I think this one is perfect for Christmas.
3. Here are a few of the other items that I needed
It's just Ribbon, Florist wire and double sided tape (the good kind).
4. Then I need a small set of lights I wanted the ones that had the white wire in them and I really only needed a small set but, I couldn't find them to save myself....lol so I will get them this time next year. I hope (X fingers X) so for this project because I wanted to use them this year I'm using these.
5. The last thing I needed was something to add alittle bit of bling to it.
I am soooooooo excited and happy with how these turned out... I love what this looks like all lite up at night. I'd love to have a whole bunch of these under the Christmas Tree next year.
This is what the first one looks like just sitting on the floor... I know the picture is alittle bit dark but, I wanted to show you how it looked with the soft glow of the lights.
But here's how the block looks during the day.
This is how I have them set up on the table in our family room.
I have them grouped together because right now I have the set split in half... 30 in one of the blocks and about 28 in the other one and that's plenty because for me the whole strand of 60 looked like too much.
Now here's how they look lite up at night while we're watching TV I just love this look.
I am soooo pleased with these they are so pretty sitting on the end table. Thanks so very much for stopping on by today. I hope that you all have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season.
Keep being crafty!!!

4 Days till Christmas (Do you remember this? Christmas Wreath....)
I was wondering if you remembered last week when I posted this lovely Blue Wreath that my husband made out of real pine. In case you forgot here's a picture of it again.
And back then I told you that he also made a Red Wreath for our other door and I said that I'd share that picture later on.... Well today is your lucky day.
I think I like the Red one way better.... originally I was in love with the blue and silver one but, the red one has grown on me
I am so pleased with how the both of these wreathes came out.
I'm hoping he has the time to make me my centerpieces but, I don't know. We'll see if he does I'll post a picture of that too.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today I really appreciate it.
I hope your either finished shopping or really close to it....
Keep being Creative

Some More Spooktacular Projects
Here are a few more of my Spooktacular Projects
I forgot that I didn't put these up on here. I came across the pictures today so I wanted to put them up on here.
First I'll show you the pics of the frames that I made.
These frames came from the dollar store and I dry brushed some black white and grey paint on them to give them a Halloweenie look.
I added tons of sparkle and glitter and rhinestones. You really can't see them on here that well. I inked alot of the edges on the papers as well.
****This post was actually from back in October.... I don't know why it never posted... I know what's happening when I'm pre-scheduling them they don't always post like they are supposed to be.
Oh well better late then never.

- I am a happily married mother of two teenagers.
- Back in 2003 I was injured at work and because of that injury.... I was diagnoised with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) / Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
- I am the oldest of three girls and that's what everyone in the neighborhood used to call us, "THE GIRLS" - I hated that.... it used to drive me insane... I prefer to be an individual.
- I used to be able to ride a skateboard with the best of em' but, now because of my pain and permanent injury there's no way I can even stand on one.
- I love my EXTERRA--- I was so happy when my hubby got it for me.... I love how they look and it being 4 wheel drive makes it even better.
- I live less then a mile to both my parents and my in laws and i'd have it no other way.... they are awesome.
- This is the best thing.... I'm in a Fantasy Football League with my Hubs and all of his old High School buddies and this year.... I clenched my division..... its a huge deal being the only GIRL in the League and it's the first time I ever did it so it's a personal achievement as well doesn't hurt I have Drew Brees as my Quarterback.
